Maple Lane Stables Does it Again!!!
1998 Year End High Point Awards
Once again in 1998, Dandy Sir and Edgar Simard showed them how it's done in the reining, winning the Advanced Reining Division Champion at the Greenwood Saddle Club Reining Derbies for the 2nd year in a row and also winning the1998 NSRHA High Point Arabian Reining Horse (Nova Scotia Reining Horse Association). Not bad for a couple of old guys!
1997 Year End High Point Awards
Congradulations to Edgar Simard and Dawn Veinot on their Year End Reining High Point Awards (1997). These points were tabulated from 5 reining derbies held throughout the summer at the Greenwood Saddle Club. Each derby consisted of 3 runs for each division, with the points being tabulated from each run's score. Edgar (one of Maple Lane Stables' owners and coaches) won the high point for the Advanced (Open) Reining Division with the infamous Dandy Sir, and Dawn, a 10 yr.old student of 2 yrs at Maple Lane Stables, won hers for the Beginner Reining Division with her Reg. Morgan gelding Windy Cove Shanachie. Maple Lane Stables only sent these two horses and riders to the derbies and brought home the High Point in 2 of the 3 divisions! Way to go guys!!!!
